By accessing or using StoryVerse ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

2. Description of Service

StoryVerse is an interactive storytelling platform that enables users to create, share, and experience branching narratives. The Service includes web-based tools for story creation, a reader interface, community features, and related services. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time.

3. User Accounts

To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When you create an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

  • Contains malware, spam, or deceptive content

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by StoryVerse and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks may not be used in connection with any product or service without prior written consent.

6. Subscription and Payments

Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees as described on our Pricing page. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. If you believe you are entitled to a refund, please contact our support team within 14 days of your purchase.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall StoryVerse, its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of the Service.

9. Disclaimer

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. StoryVerse makes no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding the Service's operation, availability, or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which StoryVerse operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
